The Round Lake Area Exchange Club and sponsor Diana’s Hair Salon & Spa are proud to announce their latest Hometown Hero, U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, Stephen Fornander. Exchange Club member, Joe Prindle nominated Master Sergeant Fornander for this recognition.
Fornander is a 1999 graduate of Round Lake High School. Fornander has served six tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Qatar. He is currently stationed in South Korea.
With the generous support of our sponsor, Diana’s Hair Salon & Spa, Fornander will be presented with a “Hanging with the Heroes” care package of some of his favorite items, personalized “Hanging with the Heroes” t-shirt, and letters from Round Lake Area Schools students.
Fornander was recognized by the Exchange Club on Thursday, July 26, 2018, 7:30am. The Round Lake Area Exchange Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the RLAS-116 Annex, located at 316 S. Rosedale Ct, Round Lake, Illinois.
