The Round Lake Area Exchange Club and sponsor Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce their February 2019 Hometown Hero, U.S. Marines, Private, Brendan Barnes. Barnes was nominated for this recognition by his mother, Angela Barnes, of Huntley.
Barnes has served for a year and works in Aviation Ordnance. He is a graduate of Huntley High School (2016).
With the generous support of our sponsor, Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Barnes will be presented with a care package of some of his favorite items, personalized “Hanging with the Heroes” t-shirt, and letters from Round Lake Area Schools students.
Barnes will be recognized by the Exchange Club on Thursday, February 28, 2018, 7:30 am. The Round Lake Area Exchange Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the RLAS-116 Administrative Service Center, located at 884 W. Nippersink Rd, Round Lake, Illinois.
