The Round Lake Area Exchange Club and sponsor Nicasa Behavioral Health Services are proud to announce their latest Hometown Hero, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant E-6, Brandon Sumler.
Sumler is sponsored by Nicasa. His wife, Jalisha Sumler, of Round Lake Beach, nominated him for this recognition. Sumler has served for 10 years in the Army. He currently works as a Recruiter.
Sumler has received several recognitions, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Brigade Top Recruiter, Multiple Battalion Top Recruiter, Multiple Company Top Recruiter, Expert Marksman Rifle and Pistol, and Airborne Jumpmaster.
