The Round Lake Area Exchange Club and sponsor Mano a Mano Family Resource Center are proud to announce their latest Hometown Hero, Veteran, U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, Robert Warren.

Staff Sergeant Warren is sponsored by Mano a Mano Family Resource Center. His son-in-law, Bruce Johnson, of Round Lake, nominated him for this recognition. Warren served for 4 years in the Air Force. He served with USAF Security Forces as a Radio Interceptor. Warren is a resident of Lake Zurich, Illinois.

Warren is a Korean War Veteran (1952-1956), served as the USAF 6973rd Support Squadron, and was stationed in the Philippines and Okinawa, Japan. Awards include the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.

With the generous support of our sponsor, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center, Warren will be presented with a care package of some of his favorite items and personalized “Hanging with the Heroes” t-shirt.
